Maria Sarafi is a lens-based media artist with a background in Software Engineering and Management (MBA). Growing up in Greece and Germany in an interdisciplinary environment influenced her Science and Art journey. Since 2016 she has presented her work in exhibitions in Switzerland, Italy and New York. In 2022 she graduated from the Creative Practices Program of the International Center of Photography.
Based in New York and Geneva, she maintains an art practice in film and digital photography, video, and sound. She speaks English, French, German, and Greek.
